Information, active listening, and compassionate support were at the core of three Conversation Circles held in Salvador (Bahia) and Joinville (Santa Catarina). The encounters brought together Natura and Avon Beauty Consultants and Business Leaders to reflect on ending violence against women and to strengthen the support network for those in need of guidance.

The activities were facilitated by the teams from the Holistic Development of Beauty Consultants and the Women’s Rights and Health divisions at Instituto Natura, with the participation of Ivanda Sobrinha, Coordinator for the Commitment to End Violence Against Women.

Throughout the sessions, key topics were addressed, including awareness building, access to information, public policies, the role of men in tackling gender-based violence, and the critical importance of providing support to women in situations of vulnerability.

The meetings also reinforced the promotion of Ângela — a safe and confidential channel that offers care and support to Beauty Consultants seeking guidance or experiencing domestic violence.

Toward a 100% Network Free of Violence

Expanding access to information is one of the most vital forms of prevention and protection. When women understand their rights, recognize signs of abuse, and know where to seek help, the likelihood of breaking cycles of violence and securing proper support and guidance increases significantly.

For this reason, initiatives such as the conversation circles and Ângela itself — benefits provided to Beauty Consultants and funded by Avon’s Ofertas do Bem social brand — are integral to the strategy of Instituto Natura and Avon to promote awareness, care, and access to protection mechanisms. These efforts contribute directly toward achieving our core objective: ensuring a Network 100% Free of Violence Against Women.

Complementing these initiatives are other ongoing mobilization and awareness campaigns, such as “Yes, it is violence. Call it by its name”, which aims to broaden recognition of the various forms of violence and guide individuals toward seeking support.
