Education
Commitments
Instituto Natura believes that transforming Education is essential for building a more prosperous and fairer world, with repercussions in many other areas. Therefore, this is one of our work axes.
In Education, Instituto Natura has three commitments: to assure that the children learn to read and write at the appropriate time; to promote Comprehensive High School Education, a pedagogical proposal which focuses on the comprehensive development of the students; and to support priority agendas, through coalitions which qualify the public educational debate and contribute to the design of a systemic agenda for public education.
Access to a quality education is a universal right which cannot be disregarded when we thrive for individual and group development. In our work, year after year, we have looked at the education policies more with the purpose to face inequality as one of the guidelines. In these 15 years of history, we have understood that this should be a cross-cutting parameter in any initiative.
